Juvenia "Tank Roman" Manual
The tank style watch with a white dial and a bold contrasting roman numeral design. An aesthetic that was also seen in the 1920’s by Cartier which made a big comeback in the 70’s and still has major presence in the watch world.
This time executed by Juvenia, a Swiss brand founded in 1860 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. A brand known for making one of the first ladies wristwatches in the 1880s.
While the popularity in Cartier keeps rising which reflects in it’s price point, you can still buy a watch with the same historic relevance and wrist presence for a decent amount.
This Juvenia was made in the 1970’s and even comes with a manual wound ETA 2512-1 caliber. A movement also used in Cartier branded wristwatches at the time. The case is gold plated and still in outstanding condition. One minor flaw is a scratch in the crystal at the 11 o’clock position for an otherwise near mint product.
