Rodania "Heuer 1611" Valjoux 7765
Rodania Valjoux 7765 aka the Heuer reference. 1611. A watch that has been kept in a very well preserved condition. The case is still sharp with the finishing still visible. A dial that’s flawless and a well serviced movement.
Brands like Heuer introduce us to bold and bulky racing chronographs in the early 70’s. We all know the Heuers of Steve McQueen, Nikie Lauda, Jo Siffert etc. But in the late 70’s we start to see the real impact of the quartz crisis. This being the last breath of the Swiss watch industry as we knew it.
A stainless steel design case powered by a Valjoux movement and funky colors. It’s a Heuer 1611 but signed by Rodania? Most likely they bought the same parts from the same supplier and printed a different logo on it.
